Each year the group has the opportunity to be involved in special performances, take exciting roadtrips to be showcased with other collegiate a cappella groups, or in the case of this coming year, begin to record our debut CD. As great as these events are, The Green Tones do not always have the necessary funds to accomplish everything we wish to do.

This year, we will be traveling to Athens, Georgia on February 5th to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. With that, we were the only group selected from the state of Texas, which is a major honor for us. With hotel accomodations and traveling expenses ahead of us, we are asking anyone willing, to aid us in our endeavors.
